There are various resources that I use and turn to when I decide to look at drinks to make or any simple syrups and other things that could help in the creation or presentation of drinks.
SMUGGLER'S COVE
Exotic cocktails, rum , and the cult of tiki
This has been one of my favorite book in the past year for looking into Tiki drinks. What I really like about this book is that it not only has great selections of cocktails and different recipes on syrups and other ingredients that go into a Tiki drink, It also goes through the history of tiki and gives other historical information about it.
MR. BOSTON PLATINUM EDITION
This was something that my mom had lying around and it has a great variety of cocktails for any occasion. I think that this was a good starter for me to have, and it even goes though some basic information that a bartender should know.
VARIOUS WEBSITES
You can find lots of different Youtube videos on drink recipes and different ways to make said drinks.
I enjoy watching the How To Drink channel because they go over many different types of drinks and even craft their own that are based on different pop cultures.
Liquor.com is another excellent source on drink and other information that i use.
