BLUE HAWAIIAN

This is not a Blue Hawaii this is a Blue Hawaiian. The main difference is that the Blue Hawaiian uses cream of coconut instead of a sweet and sour mix. Besides that i find that this drink has a very nice blue color thanks to the blue curacao. If you did not know blue curacao is a liquor tastes like oranges. Here's how to make it:

• 1oz light rum

• 1oz blue curacao

• 2oz pineapple juice

• 1oz cream of coconut

Add your ingredients, and shake. Open pour into a hurricane glass. Garnish with  a pineapple wedge and top with an umbrella.​

   I prefer to open pour this drink mostly to save on ice, because I am usually limited on the amount of ice our fridge makes. You should strain this into a hurricane glass filled with ice.
